These terms govern your use of secbot.trade, the SecBot dashboard, alerts, the SecBot MCP server and API, and the affiliate program (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What SecBot is — and is not
SecBot aggregates and analyzes public market information — regulatory filings, trading signals, news, and related data — and presents it through the website, alerts, and an MCP server for AI assistants.
SecBot is an information service, not an investment adviser. Nothing on the service is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or digital asset. Content is provided for informational purposes only. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own decisions; consult a licensed professional before acting on anything you see here.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account, including activity by AI clients you have connected via OAuth. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Paid access is billed at a flat daily rate in USDC, paid from your own wallet via the x402 payment protocol. You prepay for the period you choose; there is no auto-renew and no stored payment method.
- We are non-custodial: we never hold your funds. Payments settle on public blockchains and are irreversible once confirmed. Send payments only through the checkout flow — funds sent to the wrong address or outside the flow cannot be recovered by us.
- Because access is granted immediately upon settlement, payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or the service materially failed to provide the access you paid for.
- Pricing is displayed before you pay and may change; changes apply only to future purchases, never to time you have already paid for.
4. MCP server and API use
- Access tokens and API keys are for your own use (including your own AI assistants) and may not be shared, sold, or pooled across users.
- Usage is subject to fair-use quotas and rate limits. We may throttle or suspend access that degrades the service for others or circumvents limits.
- You may use data retrieved through the service for your own analysis and decisions. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the service's data or reports as a competing data feed or product.
5. Affiliate program
- Affiliates earn a revenue share on subscription payments from users they referred, paid in USDC to the payout wallet they provide. Commissions accrue when a referred payment settles and are paid out on-chain.
- Self-referral, cookie stuffing, misleading promotion, spam, paid-search bidding on the SecBot brand, and any form of fraudulent or artificial referral activity are prohibited and forfeit accrued commissions.
- Affiliates are independent parties, not employees or agents of SecBot, and must not make claims about the service beyond what our published materials state — in particular, no earnings claims or investment-advice framing.
- You are responsible for verifying your payout address; payouts sent on-chain to the address you provided are final. We may modify or discontinue the program prospectively at any time; accrued, non-fraudulent commissions remain payable.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or use the service to do so (including market manipulation);
- probe, attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
- scrape the service outside the documented API, or evade quotas and rate limits;
- misrepresent SecBot output as your own commercial data product;
- use another user's account or credentials.
7. Content and data
The service processes large volumes of third-party and public data and generates automated analysis. It is provided "as is": we do not warrant that any data point, report, signal, or alert is accurate, complete, or timely, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Delays, errors, and outages happen; do not build anything safety- or capital-critical on the assumption they will not.
8. Intellectual property
The service — its software, design, reports, and branding — is owned by SecBot or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service under these terms. Underlying public facts (e.g., the contents of regulatory filings) remain public.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, and SecBot will not be liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; where that is the case, these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
10. Termination
You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or threatens the service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive (payment finality, IP, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
