- Trial Phase
- Phase 1b
- Time to Market
- Years away — Phase 1b enrollment complete, but Phase 2/3 trials, if initiated, would take multiple years. Best-case earliest approval likely 2029+.
- Why 7/10
- The next hard catalyst is the blinded 6-month interim biomarker/safety analysis from the Phase 1b PRECISE-AD trial, indicated as "in the coming weeks" per the July 14, 2026 AAIC press release, with unblinded 12-month topline results expected Q4 2026. PMN310 is the company's only clinical-stage asset and drives essentially all of PMN's valuation. A Phase 1b interim readout is not a pivotal binary, but at a single-asset company with imminent news, the share-price move potential is high — hence a 7.
The Phase 1b PRECISE-AD interim analysis (blinded 6-month biomarker data) is the critical near-term catalyst, expected within weeks. Positive biomarker signals (Aβ oligomer reduction, pTau) could send the stock sharply higher given the low float and ~$12.80 share price vs. ~$32 mean analyst target. However, a Phase 1b readout is not de-risking enough to guarantee Phase 2/3 success, and the competitive Alzheimer's landscape is crowded with approved drugs (lecanemab, donanemab).

Executive Summary
PMN310 is ProMIS Neurosciences' lead (and only clinical-stage) asset — a monoclonal antibody designed to selectively target toxic amyloid-beta oligomers in Alzheimer's disease. Phase 1a data showed a favorable safety profile and dose-dependent target engagement in CSF. The Phase 1b PRECISE-AD trial (144 patients enrolled, 3 doses vs. placebo over 12 months) completed enrollment in December 2025. A blinded 6-month interim analysis is expected imminently (noted as "coming weeks" in a July 14, 2026 AAIC press release), with final topline data by end of 2026. The FDA granted Fast Track designation in July 2025. The company raised ~$75M upfront (up to $175M with warrants) via PIPE in January 2026 to fund development. Analyst consensus is Strong Buy (9:1 bullish) with a mean price target of ~$32, implying ~150% upside from ~$12.80. Key risks: Phase 1b interim results could disappoint, the Alzheimer's market is intensely competitive with approved plaque-directed antibodies, and ProMIS has no revenue or other clinical-stage programs to fall back on.
How It Works
PMN310 is a lab-engineered antibody (a type of immune protein) designed to selectively latch onto and clear the most toxic form of the amyloid-beta protein — small clumps called "oligomers" — that are thought to drive Alzheimer's disease. Unlike the approved Alzheimer's drugs lecanemab and donanemab, which bind to amyloid plaques (larger clumps) and can cause brain swelling/bleeding (ARIA), PMN310 is designed to skip the plaques and go after only the soluble toxic oligomers, which the company believes could mean better efficacy with fewer safety risks.
Trial Status
Phase 1a (single ascending dose in 40 healthy volunteers) completed October 2024 — well-tolerated, dose-dependent CNS penetration and proof of target engagement via Aβ oligomer reduction in CSF (reported at AAIC July 2026). Phase 1b PRECISE-AD trial (NCT06750432) enrolled 144 patients (vs. 128 target) by December 2025 — randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, three dose cohorts (5, 10, 20 mg/kg IV q28d for 12 months). Blinded 6-month interim analysis imminent (Q3 2026); final 12-month unblinded topline expected Q4 2026.
The Two-Sided Case
Upcoming Catalysts
- Blinded 6-month interim biomarker/safety data from PRECISE-AD Phase 1b — expected 'in the coming weeks' per July 14, 2026 (AAIC press release; previously Q2 2026 guidance)
- Final unblinded 12-month topline results from PRECISE-AD — expected Q4 2026
- Competitor readout: Acumen's sabirnetug (ACU193) Phase 2 ALTITUDE-AD topline data — late 2026. Positive data would validate the oligomer-selective class and boost PMN310; negative data would likely weigh on PMN by association
- Potential partnership or licensing discussions if interim data is strong
