- Trial Phase
- IND-approved for Phase 1/2a (not yet initiated)
- Time to Market
- Likely 5-8+ years if successful, assuming Phase 1/2a even starts. The entire pipeline is pre-revenue.
- Why 4/10
- No hard dated catalyst exists for IBC101 in the next ~12 months. The Phase 1/2a study in Korea has IND authorization but hasn't started enrollment, and no topline readout date is set. The company's immediate binary events (Nasdaq delisting appeal, stockholder vote on preferred conversion) are corporate/survival catalysts, not drug-specific readouts. This constrains the impact score despite IBC101 being the centerpiece of the InnocsAI acquisition.
LIMN is a distressed micro-cap facing Nasdaq delisting and extreme dilution (~29x potential share expansion from the InnocsAI merger). IBC101 is too early-stage (pre-clinical start) to drive a fundamental re-rating; the near-term trading is driven by delisting risk, warrant overhang, and the preferred-conversion vote. For speculative traders, watch for the proxy statement on preferred conversion and Nasdaq hearing outcome before considering any position.

Executive Summary
IBC101 is a pre-clinical-stage bivalent CD19xCD22 CAR-T cell therapy targeting relapsed/refractory B-cell malignancies, acquired by Liminatus Pharma (LIMN) via a $320M all-stock merger with InnocsAI that closed July 2, 2026. It has IND approval from South Korean regulators for a Phase 1/2a study in DLBCL that hasn't started enrollment. The host company is a distressed micro-cap ($~6-7M market cap) facing Nasdaq delisting and potentially extreme dilution (~29x) from the merger consideration structure. The CAR-T field is dominated by approved products from Novartis, Gilead, BMS, and J&J, and multiple competing CD19/CD22 dual-targeting programs are in development by better-capitalized players. For a non-medical investor, IBC101 is a very early pipeline story at a company that may not survive to see the drug reach patients.
How It Works
IBC101 is a personalized cell therapy (CAR-T). Doctors take a patient's own immune cells (T cells), genetically modify them in a lab to recognize two cancer markers (CD19 and CD22) on the surface of B-cell blood cancers, and infuse them back. The "bivalent OR-gate" design means the engineered cells attack cancer cells displaying either marker, which may help overcome the common problem of tumors mutating to lose one target.
Trial Status
IBC101 received IND clearance from South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) for a Phase 1/2a study in relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. The study has not yet started enrolling patients as of the merger close (July 2, 2026). Originally developed by InnoBation Bio and later acquired by InnocsAI LLC before the Liminatus merger.
The Two-Sided Case
Upcoming Catalysts
- Stockholder vote on conversion of Series A Convertible Preferred (unlocking ~1.59B shares) — timing unknown.
- Nasdaq delisting appeal hearing and decision.
- Phase 1/2a study initiation (first patient dosed) at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital — no date announced.
- Potential S-1 registration statement filing for merger consideration shares.
- Interim safety or efficacy data from IBC101 Phase 1/2a — likely 12+ months away if enrollment starts.
