Summary

This bill directs the Secretary of Education to reissue the solicitation and award a contract for the Charting My Path for Future Success project, as if the previous contract had not been awarded. Sec. 2, Charting My Path for Future Success Project: Within 90 days of enactment, the Secretary must reissue the solicitation and award the contract that was previously awarded under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act to a nonprofit organization. The project aims to help families and high schools support students with disabilities by training educators to assist students in setting goals, developing action plans, and reflecting on progress. In January 2025, after training, 61 educators began assisting 1,600 high school students in 62 high schools across 13 local educational agencies. The contract awarded under this section cannot be canceled without congressional approval.
