Sec. 2, Increase in grant share: The bill amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to raise the federal share of grant costs from 50 percent to 60 percent for both the standard grant and the grant for jurisdictions that have a written policy requiring officers to wear vests.
